GGF to host GDPR workshop in London following success in Solihull

With the General Data Protection Regulation due to become law on 25th May 2018, the GGF is hosting another workshop in June, following the success of the first workshop last month.

The first workshop took place in Solihull on 11th April and was a major success with no spare seats in the room. As a result, a second workshop will take place on 14th June in London to provide further help for companies in the industry who are uncertain of how the new regulation will impact their business.

The workshop, in partnership with Cybercrowd, will be highly interactive, informing delegates of their legal obligations in relation to data handling under GDPR and allowing any questions on the legislation to be answered.

Richard Hearn, Head of GGF Membership and Training commented: “Our workshop in April generated a great deal of interest. The topics which generated most discussion included the impact of a ‘subject access request’, ‘accountability obligations’ and the benefits of developing a business plan for GDPR.”

The workshop is set to take place at the GGF Offices in Southwark, London and runs from 10am to 3pm with lunch and refreshments. GGF Members can register to attend the seminar for free whilst non-members are still able to attend but for a fee of £245.00.
