It has been announced that Senior Architectural Systems has become the latest system house to sign up to the BFRC Energy Rating Scheme.
BFRC is the UK’s premier authority for independently verified ratings of energy efficient windows and doors; this latest addition to the list consolidates the scheme’s presence in the system house sector.
Doncaster-based Senior Architectural Systems has quickly become one of the largest privately owned systems houses in the UK, measured by turnover, since its establishment in 1991.
Supplying over 100 fabricators, Senior provides many commercial window systems and is continuously expanding the scope of its range.
Its latest product is the new Domestic Range of aluminium windows and doors. The Ali VU casement contains a range of two “A+ rated” and “A rated” windows, along with: PURe® Lift and Slide Door “B rating”, plus Hybrid Tilt and Turn “A rating”.

By joining BFRC, companies within Senior’s Fabricator Network can become a licence holder and gain greater product and brand benefits such as:
Lis Clarke (pictured), BFRC Operations Director, reflected on the news: “We are pleased that Senior Architectural Systems has joined BFRC and I have no doubt their fabricators and their installer network will reap the benefits of the BFRC scheme going forward.
“2018 promises to be a great year for BFRC with more companies starting to realise the value of independent verified window and door energy ratings.”
