Imperial Bricks sees strong growth with 25% sales increase

  • 13 Jun 2018

Imperial Bricks has announced a strong growth of 25% in sales compared to 2015/16, in addition to a 20% increase in business growth.

The traditional handmade brick market has grown significantly over the last ten years, with a particular surge in demand for reclamation-style bricks recently.

Imperial offers a range of 50+ traditional handmade, wirecut, waterstruck, and pressed bricks, and as of 2017, a complementary Heritage line mortar and brick tint solution.

Jason Hughes, Managing Director comments: “From the start of the business we noticed a gap in the market for reclamation-style bricks that did not suffer from the same issues as genuine reclaims.

“It’s crucial to take into consideration the regional variations in handmade bricks, and that is an area of strength for us. From London Yellow Stock, new Original London Stock, Cambridge Buff, and a series of imperial-sized bricks suitable for the Midlands and North such as the 3″ Reclamation Handmade, the new York Clamp and Imperial Accrington Stock, our expert team knows what brick suits where, and are increasing the product range continually to meet demand.”

Expert advice is available for those looking for a brick match and require samples. Two RIBA-approved CPD courses are also available, helping architects and specifiers learn about brick matching, restoration and renovation with bricks and more with CPD Roadshows taking place throughout 2018.
