Armstrong Ceiling Solutions has announced the launch of its new distribution service for Middle Eastern countries. The new service comes as part of Armstrong’s pledge to slash lead times, giving the company more control over the distribution of its ceiling system solutions.
The centre will provide contractors in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait with Armstrong products within one to two weeks – a fraction of the time they had previously been available. Manned by dedicated Armstrong staff, the warehouse is located at the busiest port int he Middle East, Jebel Ali Port, with up to 100,000m2 of storage facilities.
As a result of the move, Armstrong will have greater local control over the distribution of its ceiling system solutions. The arrangement is expected to be popular among contractors who will pay only for what they need at the time and not a percentage of the overall project value, enabling them to complete projects more quickly and easily.
Products available include tiles such as Dune Supreme (Board, Tegular and MicroLook) and Dune Max Board, Ultima+ (Board, Tegular and MicroLook) and Fine Fissured (Board and Tegular), as well as compatible suspension systems such as Prelude 15 and 24, and perimeter trim solutions
sales director Mohamed Khaled said: “I think our new distribution service is a very significant development that is not only going to be very well-received by our customers but will also enable us to access parts of the market we were not able to before.”
