Alumasc Facades has announced that after rigorous testing, its Swisslab EPS/Grey EPS External Wall Insulation System (now known as DashAgg Lite) has been awarded an LABC & LABSS certificate.
Local authority building control (LABC) Registered Details is a one-off certification process proving compliance with building regulations and standards across England, Wales and Scotland. LABC & LABSS registration helps to ensure acceptance by all local authorities across England, Wales and Scotland whilst making the building control process more efficient.
The certification involved the system being tested in the following areas:
TheDashAgg Lite comprises mechanically fixed expanded polystyrene (EPS) or Grey EPS insulation boards with optional supplementary adhesive, glass fibre reinforcing mesh and render finishes, and suitable for use on new or existing domestic and non-domestic masonry, and no-fines concrete buildings up to 18m Substrates applicable: Masonry, Brick (Solid), Brick (Cavity), Concrete, No Fines Concrete, Existing Rendered Masonry and Blockwork.
