ROCKWOOL will be featuring at this year’s UK Construction Week, at Stand B710, 9 – 11 October at NEC Birmingham.
ROCKWOOL believe insulation isn’t just about thermal performance, with acoustic capabilities and fire safety both vital factors to consider when insulating a home.
At UKCW, ROCKWOOL will showcase its range of stone wool insulation solutions in a breathtakingly imaginative way, demonstrating how the natural properties of stone wool can be used to meet the changing demands of the industry.
Using Augmented Reality and digital technologies, visitors will be able to step into a virtual ROCKWOOL world, getting up close and interactive with a range of stone wool solutions.
Beyond these immersive experiences, the Stand will also feature live demonstrations of the fire safety, compartmentation and the sound insulating benefits of ROCKWOOL.
Experts from ROCKWOOL will also share insight and practical information on how to deliver regulation compliant buildings in a series of CPD modules, entitled ABC – A-Rated Products, Building Envelope and Compartmentation.
These hour long CPDs are applicable to the main areas of the building envelope, specifically facades and roofs, in addition to highlighting the importance of compartmentation to prevent fire spread.
ROCKWOOL’s Head of Technical, Tim Vincent, will deliver three sessions at the CPD Hub.
A-Rated Products – Understanding Non-combustible | Tuesday 9th October 13:30: CPD Hub 3
Building Envelope – High Rise & High Risk Buildings | Wednesday 10th October 13:45: CPD Hub 2
Compartmentation – Effective Fire Stopping & Service Works | Thursday 11th October 10:30: CPD Hub 3
