Futurebuild has expressed its excitement at partnering with and welcoming Vision to the 2019 event, providing a London focused seminar programme alongside an unrivalled networking opportunity for architects, housebuilders and developers.
The seminar programme on the show floor, curated by Vision, will be surrounded by an exhibition of the brands aligned to the 100@London networking and dinner event, taking place on the opening day of Futurebuild, March 5.
With a variety of critical issues facing the built environment, never has it been more pressing to explore these challenges and create ways of delivering results that positively impact London, as well as the wider environment and society.
The collaboration between Futurebuild and Vision will see leading speakers from the architectural world and beyond discuss and debate the future vision for London. These will focus on the key themes of The London Plan of ensuring it is:
These themes will also be central to Vision’s 100@London networking evening, an event that encourages collaboration and offers the chance to exchange ideas around key industry issues.
This is the latest edition in the influential 100@ event series around Europe, which connects 100 senior architects, developers and housebuilders, with 30 key manufacturers.
The three-course gourmet dinner will include high profile industry speakers covering the major visions for London.
Martin Hurn, Managing Director at Futurebuild, commented: “We are extremely excited to have Vision at the event for 2019. Last year, Futurebuild attracted over 26,500 visitors and 450 exhibitors from across the built environment.
“Vision’s presence will help to expand the high level of content available to audiences and encourage new and returning brands to exhibit.
“It will provide senior decision makers and specifiers with much needed London focused material, as well as a networking opportunity unlike any other.
“By bringing these people together we can tackle the big issues facing the world’s leading cities head on to predict and plan for a better future, with a real focus on the role of architectural practitioners.”
Matt Underhill, Managing Director at Vision, added: “It makes perfect sense for Futurebuild 2019 to be the base for Vision – we are simply adding to the already fantastic event programme already in place.
“We both share the same values in that we want to create the ultimate destination for senior representatives to collaborate and create action plans for change.
“Our 100@ networking and dinner series will also offer a new layer to Futurebuild, attracting the top architects, suppliers and house builders to an already busy event.”
