Senior has brewed up a storm in Lancashire recently by creating an eye-catching façade for Thwaite’s new head office and brewery facility.
Having relocated from Blackburn to Ribble Valley in Lancashire, Thwaites has created a new two-storey office building and refurbished listed stable buildings for its horses.
The leading brewery firm chose Campbell Driver architects to design the fenestration package, which was then fabricated and installed by Aire Valley Architectural Aluminium Ltd for main contractor Barnfield Construction.
Senior was chosen to supply its SF52 curtain walling to create an aesthetically pleasing entrance to the new facility and to maximise the flow of natural light into the space.
The sleek aluminium frame of Senior’s SF52 system complements the attractive building envelope design, which comprises charred vertical timber, zinc cladding and natural stone, and helps to create a sense of symmetry across the front elevation.
In addition, Senior also supplied its high-performance SPW500 aluminium doors for the new HQ.
This is the latest contract to be completed as part of Senior’s positive working relationships with supply chain partners Aire Valley Architectural Aluminium Ltd and Barnfield Construction.
