Contour Heating recognises that each school is an individual learning environment that caters to the individual needs of its students and staff.
All learning spaces are different, which is why no two Contour Deepclean LST radiators are the same. Contour will cater to your specific heating needs to provide you with bespoke LST radiators and radiator covers in the sizes that you need for your classrooms.
Looking for a cost-effective LST solution? Check out the Covora range.
Below is a table of the company’s standard Covora LST radiator sizes. You can use this as a base point when specifying radiator measurements to suit your classrooms.
The size of your LST radiators and radiator covers will depend not only on your classroom size but also on the style of your learning space. To fit a variety of classrooms, Contour offers the following bespoke radiator cover options:
– Wall-to-wall LST radiator covers, designed to protect students and staff from perimeter or finned pipe heating systems.
– Bay window LST radiator covers, designed to fit angled or contoured classroom walls with an internal fixing bracket.
– Free-standing LST radiators and radiator covers, designed to be fitted where wall mountings can’t be installed.
– Vertical LST radiator covers, designed to fit classrooms where wall space is a premium. Grilles are located in line with the middle of the radiator covers to ensure maximum efficiency of heat convection.
– Alcove LST radiator covers, designed for recesses in classroom walls to maximise floor space.
– Raised finned element pipe LST radiator covers, designed to provide a safe surface temperature to raised finn pipe emitters.
– Corner fitted LST radiator covers (10-20mm depth), designed to fit into classroom corners, preventing dust from collecting.
BioCote®: Hygiene
All LST radiator covers are coated with BioCote® antimicrobial technology to reduce the risk of bacterial cross-contamination by up to 99.9%. Contour is the only heating products company to partner with BioCote® in the design and manufacture our revolutionary anti-microbial LST radiators.
BioCote® inhibits the growth of bacteria on a classroom radiator in just 15 minutes and continuously works to maintain hindered bacteria growth. BioCote® extends the usable lifetimes of LST radiators, making Contour’s LST range the leading LST heating products on the market in terms of durability and hygiene.
Manufacture
Contour LST radiator covers are manufactured from 1.22 mm mild steel to ensure maximum durability. The radiator covers are punched with 5.5 mm wide radius grilles to prevent small items from being inserted into the radiator covers by children.
Safety
Contour LST radiator cover designs incorporate bullnose corners to reduce the risk of injury in the case of a child falling into the radiator. Safety is a core aspect of Contour’s radiator and radiator cover designs.
Design
The slim design of Contour LST radiators and radiator covers is ideal for saving space in classrooms, which is often beneficial to schools where seating and classroom equipment can be space-consuming.
LST radiators are available in the following models:
– Single Convector
– Double Panel Plus
– Convector Emitter
Contour LST radiator covers are one-piece constructions with pre-fabricated cut-outs for valves, skirting boards and pipework. Contour carry all modification work out during the manufacturing process to avoid any noisy, time-consuming radiator installation that is disruptive in schools.
The Covora LST heating products range includes the latest round-top emitters for exceptional thermal output.
Colour is integral to psychology and children’s mindsets in educational environments. With our RAL chart’s extensive colour range, you can match your LST radiator covers to your classroom design.
