The Kingspan TEK Building System has featured at a new restaurant at Chessington World of Adventures.
The Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) were fitted in a mere fortnight, ensuring the Smokehouse BBQ was ready for function, in time for the Easter period.
Chessington World of Adventures Resort covers 197 acres, featuring a zoo, sea life centre, theme park, accommodation, and other family-friendly activities.
The 142 mm Kingspan TEK Building System forms the walls and roof of the single-storey restaurant.
It was vital that the on-site facilities were constructed to schedule so the theme park could continue to cater for its visitors.
The SIP envelope was erected by Kingspan TEK Delivery Partners, Westwind Oak Buildings, with the wall panels fitted within a traditional oak frame.
Rupert Newman, Director from Westwind Oak Buildings, said the Kingspan TEK Building System was chosen due to the need for a quick build with little difficulties, as there were only two weeks to finish the project.
It was crucial the products used were in-keeping with the overall aesthetic and vision for the resort.
