  • 18 Jul 2019

Abloy UK is celebrating success at IFSEC 2019, with a visit from the company’s new brand ambassador, Finnish motor racing icon Valtteri Bottas to answer questions, pose for pictures and sign autographs.

The event saw Valtteri Bottas explain to visitors that he was chosen to represent Abloy’s brand, as he shares Abloy’s values and qualities; he is trustworthy, technologically pioneering and innovative, delivers a first-class performance and puts teamwork at the heart of everything he does.

Other synergies between Valtteri and the Abloy brand were apparent at the event, with many visitors commenting on how approachable and down to earth the F1 star was, happy to make time to speak with each person individually.

Valtteri comments: “There are a lot of values that are similar between Abloy and what I do – a lot of it is teamwork and trust for example. I only want to be involved with trusted and respected brands, so once there was an opportunity with Abloy, I wanted to go for it.”

Aaron Yule, Managing Director at Abloy UK, adds: “Trust is built on little everyday things that work. It’s all about quality and reliability and combines ability, will and honesty. We know Valtteri embodies these values and that’s why he’s our brand ambassador.”

Alongside the meet and greet with Valtteri, Abloy saw a record number of visitors to the stand, generating over double the amount of new business leads from previous events.
