Abloy UK will be demonstrating its range of high security solutions for the pharmacy and healthcare sectors at the Clinical Pharmacy Congress 2016.
The Clinical Pharmacy congress will take place at ExCel London on the 22nd and 23rd April, with over 2,300 clinical pharmacy professionals expected in attendance.
Abloy UK’s stand will offer an interactive demonstration of its locking solutions and provide the opportunity to learn more about its ABLOY PROTEC2 CLIQ and Traka21 systems.
The PROTEC2 CLIQ system can be used to provide comprehensive audit trails on cylinders and padlocks. The system can record where, when and who used each key, with the ability to remove permissions quickly and easily.
In a pharmacy setting, this means that nurses do not have to waste time looking for lost keys, and medicines can be secured more effectively.
The system has already been installed at North Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Trust, Birmingham City & Sandwell NHS Trust, London Bridge Hospital, Yeovil District Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
Abloy will also be showcasing its RFID keyless locker locks at the Clinical Pharmacy Congress. The locks offer an ideal solution for patient and POD lockers.
The RFID locker locks allow patients’ belongings and prescribed drugs to be stored safely, without the risk of loss or damage.
Shaun Powell, General Sales Manager – OEM Products for Abloy UK, said: “PROTEC2 CLIQ has proven to be a valuable addition in several hospitals, and we hope to see other pharmacy and healthcare organisations utilising the system to benefit both staff and patients.
“We’re really looking forward to getting face-to-face with professionals at Clinical Pharmacy Congress, and explaining how the systems operate as well as the full range of benefits they provide, which is why I’ll be presenting a seminar at 9.00am on Saturday 23rd April when I’ll be able to show videos and explain how these systems not only improve security of controlled drugs, but also increase the efficiency of nurses and provide a remarkable Return on Investment.”

The key is to tender using Tobermore’s Secura modular concrete block retaining walls rather than the default masonry specification & the Secura Portal, an online tool.
