Adhesive tapes for floor laying at Batimat

  • 7 Oct 2015

ATP Adhesive Systems AG has announced it will be unveiling a selection of new adhesive tapes for floor coverings at Batimat 2015.

The five double-sided adhesive tapes have been developed to provide extra-strong adhesion for laying floor coverings.

ATP’s adhesive system is suitable for bonding textiles, carpet tiles and stair coverings. It can also be used when laying standard skirting boards on a wide range of wall structures.

The range is certified to EMICODE EC1+. As they are a plasticizer, the product is ageing-resistant, retain their elasticity and don’t become brittle.

In addition, its stable dimensions means it will not retain its size and shape after many years.

ATP’s adhesive solutions have been developed to make laying flooring simple and practical. Despite boasting long-lasting adhesive properties, the tapes are easy to remove.

ATP’s Segment Manager for Building and Construction, Sascha Kamer, emphasised the products’ environmental compatibility: “The materials are low-emission and free of solvents and household toxins.

We are committed to these standards and want to continue to play a leading role in the development of products that protect health and conserve resources in the future.”

Taking place in Paris from 2nd to 6th November 2015, Batimat is one of the world’s leading construction trade fairs.
