Aggregate Industries achieves ISO 44001 certification

  • 22 Mar 2019

Aggregate Industries has recently achieved recommendation for ISO 44001 certification for its Collaborative Business Relationship Management Systems, awarded by the British Standards Institute.

The certification was awarded company-wide to Aggregate Industries for successfully demonstrating a competent and efficient degree of relationship management across a variety of projects, which include a multitude of internal business areas and external partners.

Aggregate’s management was tested against a set of stringent criteria, giving the customer peace of mind that they are achieving quality and value through a truly collaborative approach when working with Aggregate Industries.

Moreover, by applying certified, standardised procedures, Aggregate Industries is able to reduce costs in innovative ways, improve project efficiency, and ensure the fast and effective resolution of any issues that may arise.

Paddy Murphy, Managing Director of Contracting at Aggregate Industries comments: “I am incredibly proud of achieving this certification. ISO 44001 is quickly becoming a prerequisite for highways, infrastructure and major projects which specify requirements for the effective identification, development and management of collaborative business relationships.

“By achieving certification, Aggregate Industries has demonstrated that our processes and culture underpin sustainable business relationships and harness the benefits of collaborative working.”
