Aggregate Industries has announced two new appointments, joining the Express Asphalt division.
Duncan Reaney, formerly the Head of Strategy and Pricing at Aggregate Industries, has been named the new General Manager, whilst Lucy Collins (pictured) will take over as Commercial Manager.
Duncan has close to 20 years of experience in HR, finance, project management and business development, having previously held a role within the HR team at LafargeHolcim, bringing a wealth of experience to his new position.
Commenting on his appointment, Duncan said: “I am honoured to take over the leadership of the Express Asphalt division and I look forward to further developing the strong, customer focused culture that the team has come to be known for.“
The Express Asphalt division is also welcoming Lucy Collins as its new Commercial Manager. Having first joined Aggregate Industries at 19 years of age, Lucy has worked in various different divisions within the business, having first started off as a Sales Co-ordinator in the Aggregates Division before progressing to PA for the Aggregates Director.
Lucy’s role has since evolved from PA to Business Manager and now to Commercial Manager. As part of her new role, Lucy will be responsible for the management of national accounts, the internal sales office and liaising with suppliers, in addition to overseeing market sector and customer analysis, project management, strategy implementation, marketing and business development opportunities.
Lucy will also manage the ‘Express Experience’ offering – a new service that is being provided in response to customer feedback which now offers a 30 minute turnaround time, innovation and training, onsite refreshments and facilities, free Wi-Fi, extended opening times and tools and equipment available to purchase on site.
