Ahmarra achieves environmental ISO 14001 standard

  • 2 Feb 2015

The ISO 14001 has been achieved by Ahmarra for its dedication to the environment

For aiming to manufacture internal doors in the most environmentally friendly way possible, Ahmarra has been awarded the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification.

Ahmarra installed its original biomass boiler in 1998, which has since been replaced with an updated model. The boiler heats the facility ecologically by using wood waste from the factory.

While using recycling techniques wherever possible, Ahmarra also ensure that its materials are certified by the FSC and that its wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests.
