Alumasc Roofing Systems

All you need from Alumasc’s Monoscreed

  • 27 Nov 2017

Alumasc Roofing Systems’ Monoscreed – a fast-curing, solvent screed that can be cold applied to concrete decks to lower deck deflection and back-falls and bring deck levels back to tolerance.

The system is rainproof within an incredible 15 minutes of being applied, which is an amazing cure time, with full cure in approximately 45 minutes, therefore providing substantial programme benefits when compared to more conventional screed.

Made up from resin, filler and aggregate mix, Monoscreed can be mixed at roof level and applied directly to suitably prepared cementitious concrete.

It needs to be free from dust, dampness, grease, laitance, oil and other contamination, and, if needs be, primed with Alumasc Bitumen Primer.

Coming in pre-measured packs of components, the system is palletised to guarantee simple transportation to roof level and accuracy of the compound mix.
