Alumasc Roofing offers flat roof refurbishment seminar

Alumasc Roofing Systems has announced the developed a free, CPD points-qualifying seminar about the refurbishment of flat roofs.

The waterproofing and green roof systems supplier has developed the seminar to raise awareness of the different issues associated with flat roof refurbishment projects.

The seminar will cover the British Standards Code of Practice, roof structures, the effects of geography, condensation control, thermal upgrades, drainage challenges, Health & Safety and guarantees, and also contains objective advice about the different types of waterproofing system and their merits.

Alumasc’s Neil Delve, who presents CPD seminars, says: “Refurbishment of flat roofs requires attention to issues which don’t occur with new-build, and clients have found the information contained in this seminar invaluable when planning their own refurbishment projects.”
