The Alumasc Ventilated System will feature at the Offsite Awards 2015

Alumasc Ventilated System nominated at Offsite Construction Awards

  • 23 Nov 2015

The team behind the Alumasc Ventilated System (AVS) has been nominated in the Product Innovation category at the Offsite Construction Awards.

Launched in 2015, the solution has been developed by Alumasc Façade Systems to meet the requirements and guidelines set out by both the NHBC and TRADA for timber framed construction.

The system utilises a free flowing cavity to remain both continuously ventilated and drained, whilst maintaining detailing true to traditional build expectations.

This guarantees that the timber substrate fulfils its ventilation requirements, removing condensation and preventing moisture tracking back to the building fabric to provide a protected structure.

The AVS has been shortlisted for the Product Innovation Award – a wide ranging category which recognises ground breaking products that meet the appropriate UK building regulations together with health and safety standards.

The Offsite Construction Awards feature over 145 entires across 12 categories, with the winners set to be announced at a reception taking place on 1st December at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in London.

The Alumasc Ventilated System (AVS) was recently ‘Highly Commended’ at the Structural Timber Awards, brining to market a robust, BBA Certified cladding solution.

The lightweight acrylic brick slips are available in a wide range of final finishes to replicate any UK brick in the market. The system is also approved for use with high performance silicone renders, available in over 600 colours alongside a traditional range of dashing renders.
