Alumasc Water Management Solutions (AWMS) is a key sponsor for this year’s BMF All Industry Conference, which is to celebrate Building Excellence as its theme for 2019.
The conference, which will take place from 13 – 16 June at the Sun Gardens Hotel, Dubrovnik, sets out to bring together the building industry to network and address key issues facing us today.
As a leading manufacturer of water management solutions for the entire building envelope, AWMS aims to promote the efficient use, retention, recycling and disposal of water through the design and supply of sustainable rain to drain systems.
More than 80 merchant and 60 supplier companies will be attending the conference this year, including for the first time, members from Ireland.
This follows BMF’s group membership agreement with Allied Merchants Buying Association (AMBA) last year, Ireland’s leading independent merchant buying group.
John Coe, Commercial Director at AWMS, commented: “We are delighted to be sponsoring this, the biggest event in the industry’s calendar. It’s extremely important for the industry to come together for such an exciting opportunity to forge new connections, and gain insights from leaders across the sector.”
The conference sold out in record time this year, just six weeks after launch, which was undoubtedly helped by the huge amount of interest in this year’s theme, as well as the venue – the historic city of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Anticipating a spike in popularity, total delegate capacity was increased, enabling 11% more merchants to attend.
The BMF All Industry Conference will be hosted by TV personality Gethin Jones. Keynote speakers are to include Lord John Prescott, the UK’s longest serving Deputy Prime Minister and Stephen Martin, Director General of the Institute of Directors.
David Young, managing director of Bradfords Building Supplies and Tony France, Sales Director of Ibstock Brick, will take part in the forum, one of the most popular sessions at the Conference.
