Aperio cylinder wireless control system eradicates drilling and cabling

Designed to support all leading RFID technologies including MIFARE, DESFire, iCLASS by HID and 125 kHz, the Aperio cylinder uses standard batteries rather than the mains connection alternatives required by most wired access doors to ensure a cost effective solution.

A live demobstration on the ASSA ABLOY YouTube channel shows a technician installing an Aperio cylinder in one minute and 58 seconds.

Aperio Technology enables providers to integrate non-wired doors with mechanical locks into access control systems quickly and at a cost effective price.

Aperio can be combined alongside new and existing access control systems at a low cost and can update room access authorisations online and in real time.
