i2 Office in Birmingham, benefitting from Aperio wireless locks

Aperio wireless locks offer seamless integration to i2 Offices

  • 29 Oct 2015

Specialist serviced office provider, i2 Office has specified over one thousand of ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio wireless lock units.

i2 Office offers fully serviced offices to businesses of varying sizes in cities across the UK.

Each sub-let i2 office was previously hardwired into an existing access control system, providing both costly and time consuming.

Having previously installed 200 Aperio units a couple of years ago, more wireless locks have been introduced to seamlessly link to the existing access control system, without the need for cables.

Seamless integration

The Aperio range is designed to upgrade mechanically locked doors and wirelessly connect them online or offline to new or existing access control systems.

The solution requires minimal modification to the existing doors and premises, offering a cost effective and simple security upgrade.

By utilising the existing access control system and not altering the doors, the installation costs were minimised, allowing more i2 offices to be upgraded over a shorter period of time.
