Aquaproof water leakage solution for tiled areas

  • 22 Jun 2015

Aquaproof creates a fully tanked room preventing damage to walls and floors, and ensures there is no leakage into adjacent rooms. Included in the system are a primer, tape, and the compound. Additional products available include pre-formed corners, pipe sleeves and outlet sleeves.

Aquaproof has been developed as a solution to water leakage in tiled areas, including wetrooms and bathrooms.

A complete shower kit is also available – which has been developed to include everything required for a small to medium size wetroom.

The system has been designed to tolerate normal levels of movement in a room, and does not become brittle with age.

Meeting the requirements of European Technical Approval ETA-08/0250 ‘Liquid applied watertight coverings for wetrooms with wearing surface’, Aquaproof comes with a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Aquaproof is compatible with a wide range of substrates, including:

  • Ply sheeting
  • Shower tray formers
  • Plasterboards
  • MDF
  • Cementitious screed
