Archwood’s new Chief Executive

From February 1st, the Archwood Group will have a new Chief Executive, Tony Miles.

Tony Miles has been the Managing Director at International Timber, a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution, since 2007, where he and his team were responsible for achieving sustained growth.

He is a past president of the North West Timber Trade Association and a current board member of the Confederation of Timber Industries, a well-known figure in the UK timber and wood products industry. 

With a reputation for driving customer service in both the merchanting and manufacturing sectors, he commented that this is a great opportunity to lead business and further develop both the people and the company’s portfolio of products and brands in the coming years.

Marcus Moir, the Archwood Group Executive Chairman, stated that he was delighted to have Tony on team with his breadth of industry experience and many years of commercial and business leadership – of which he expects to play a vital part in forging the next chapter in Archwood’s growth and development.
