Armourcoat celebrates Art Space awards at London reception

  • 13 Apr 2016

Decorative specialist Armourcoat has held a reception in London for the winners of last November’s Ukrainian Art Space awards.

BO project

A panel of judges led by SBID President Vanessa Brady OBE named the ‘BO’ project winner of the ‘Art Space’ Award in November.

Guests included Ukrainian designer Mykola Gulyk of Design Studio Baraban+, who collected an award for the ‘BO’ project, which featured Armourcoat polished plaster.

The Armourcoat polished plaster was used across the building’s wall and ceiling finishes to create a Tuscan-style interior.

Armourcoat CEO Guy Whitehead presented Mykola with the award at the event, which is held every two years in Ukraine.

The awards received over 300 submissions from Ukrainian designers and architects, which is then narrowed down to 32 projects by an international panel of judges. Winners are then selected across eight categories.

MosBuild Russia

Armourcoat also recently participated in the Russian building and interiors exhibition MosBuild. The event attracted over 70,000 visitors and more than 1,500 leadings brands within the building industry.

Armourcoat Marketing Director Daniel Nevitt supported the event, which was managed by local agent Studio A Dekor.
