The Art Space 'BO' project

Armourcoat polished plaster specified for Art Space Award winning project

  • 27 Nov 2015

Armourcoat polished plaster has been used by Ukrainian designer Mykola Gulyk of Design Studio Baraban+ for the award-winning ‘BO’ project.

Baraban+ used the plaster to create a Tuscan style throughout the interior’s wall and ceiling finishes, including the swimming pool and bathroom areas.

Armourcoat’s polished plaster was featured heavily in the swimming pool and bathroom areas.

An international panel of judges led by SBID (Society of British and International Design) President Vanessa Brady OBE named the project winner of the ‘Art Space’ Award in November.

Armourcoat CEO Guy Whitehead presented the award to MyKola at the Art Space event, held every two years in Kiev with the country’s leading designers and architects in attendance.

SBID Ukraine works to recognise Ukrainian design professionals through accreditation.

The SBID has also opened a representative office in Kiev in October, acting as a channel to promote accredited designers in Ukraine, and to participate in seminars, round tables and other industry events.
