Armourcoat specified for UCL School of Management

  • 24 Mar 2017

University College London School of Management has specified Armourcoat polished plaster for its new space on the 38th floor of the One Canada Square, Canary Wharf in London.

The space was designed by architects, Levitt Bernstein in collaboration with UCL Estates and the School’s director, Bert De Reyck.

The expansion has been created to attract academic talent from across the world, with the floor being divided into six distinct zones which each serve different aspects of the School’s work and have their own unique identities.

Offices and meeting rooms have been arranged around a central shared space and the zones are termed as ‘villages’. The village zones are defined with colour and texture from Armourcoat ‘Koncrete’ polished plaster including copper leaf, working with the new UCL corporate identity Studio Blackburn.

Managing Directorof Levitt Bernstein, Matthew Goulcher, said an informal space has been created by the use of broke geometries across the whole floor plate, as well as shared breakout areas which hope to spark unexpected conversation and shared creative thinking.
