  • 4 Apr 2018

ASSA ABLOY UK Specification, has revealed a new, distinctive and stylish design for its advanced door closers.

The new design is a substantial step in the evolution of the company’s comprehensive door control portfolio and will appeal to architects and specifiers seeking a range of finishes and enhanced colour-suiting.

With every possible application catered for, the new-look range in combination with other ASSA ABLOY architectural hardware offers numerous possibilities to create complete door opening solutions by design.

Christof Ronge, Global Industrial Design Director at ASSA ABLOY commented: “Architects dedicate their lives to create beautiful and functional spaces for people to live and work in.

“ASSA ABLOY looks to support an architect’s vision with a range of door control solutions that work perfectly and enhance the built environment.”

The new design includes the smooth operation of CAM-Motion®, the effortless silence of Close-Motion® and the ground-breaking Free-Motion® technologies, ensuring safe, secure and legally compliant access for all.

For installers, the new design keeps the superb ease of installation for which ASSA ABLOY door closers are well known for.

Alternative installation types, flexible height adjustment and non-handed features enable quick and easy installation and reduce stock requirements.

Tim Checketts, Specification Director at ASSA ABLOY UK Specification describedtThe new ASSA ABLOY design as a ‘statement’.

“We want our solutions to blend in with today’s modern building designs and enhance an architect’s vision. The new range, in both looks and operation, is designed to be all you need.”

ASSA ABLOY, with its 80 years in the door control industry, will be launching the new range of door closers at their upcoming seminar on design and function this May.
