ASSA deadlocks secure social housing bin stores in Solihull

  • 21 Sep 2016

Warrior Doors has collaborated with ASSA, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, to secure bin stores for Solihull Community Housing (SCH). The project was part of an ongoing regeneration programme to upgrade the interiors, exteriors and surrounding for 35 high rise Social Housing council properties.

The phased regeneration included the upgrade of several properties bin store doors, requiring a total of 37 strong and aesthetically pleasing doors that were vandal and vermin proof. The doors had to be low maintenance, with low life cycle costs.

Warrior Doors’ brushed stainless steel doors were specified and secured with ASSA’s 2788 deadlocks – offering a robust solution ideal for high usage areas that are prone to vandalism and arson.

Warrior Doors’ IT Operations and Project Manager, Dave Perryman, commented that he would have “no hesitation working with ASSA in the future” following the project, describing the quality of its products as exceptional.
