Loading bay doors are vital to ensuring a constant chain of operations and serve multiple functions including security, hygiene and heat retention, with high speed doors a key factor in making sure that work is carried out quicker than with manual alternatives.

High-speed loading bay doors facilitate operational efficiency, significantly reduce heat loss and associated energy costs, with sara LBS’ high speed roller shutter doors for warehouse and factory environments suitable to be fitted with the MCC VectorControl system.

VectorControl offers a fast, smooth opening to allow installers to programme the door to integrate with its surroundings, with its advantages including radar, induction loops and radio activation for automatic opening.

The system can be fully integrated within an automated warehouse environment and includes advanced functions such as pre-programmed opening heights for recognised vehicles – preventing machinery from operating until the doors are fully closed, and opening with enough timed accuracy to let products pass through with a second to spare either way.

Sara LBS can be specified to carry out the design, programming, installation and commissioning of programme additional equipment, allowing for fitting time and costs to be cut whilst guaranteeing that the VectorControl system fits around an on-going maintenance plan.

Sara’s safety beam runs in front of the curtain to prevent the door from closing if there is an obstruction, preventing potential damage to staff and products being transported around a warehouse.

The Sprint range of high speed doors offer opening speeds up to 3.2m/s and can be specified in a number of options, including aluminium roller shutter doors, mesh grill doors, doors with windows, fully transparent doors, heavy duty textile, PVC or plastic doors, specialist doors for food facilities and laser or optically protected doors.
