GEZE has signed up to showcase its latest innovations in door and window automation at the Smart Buildings Show, which is scheduled to take place at the Barbican, London, from 8th–9th November.
GEZE’s range of fenestration systems have been designed to make houses more economical and functional throughout their lifecycle. At the Smart Buildings Show, the company will demonstrate how its automation products can help homes achieve ‘Smart Building’ status.
Door and window automation
GEZE will be showcasing its Powerturn swing door drive for opening large, heavy doors, along with its Slimchain and Powerchain electrically-operated chain drives for vertically installed window ventilation.
The company’s new interface module, IO 420, enables automatic door systems, window technology and heat extraction and safety systems to be integrated into existing buildings via the BACnet communication standard.
GEZE’s IQ box KNX interface will also be on display. The technology has been developed to interact with different systems around a building; it interfaces with IQ window drives, enabling users to open windows to desired positions, and facilitate timed ventilation and automatic opening and closing.
This technology can be controlled internally or via a mobile end device.
