AWMS team continues to grow

The Alumasc Water Management Solutions team continues to grow and develop as Barrie Smith is appointed as new Area Sales Manager of London and the South East, and Pete Hickman is promoted to Area Sales Manager for the North.

Joining from Graf UK Ltd, where Barrie worked for eight years as Area Sales Manager, responsible for its Stormwater Management, Sewage Treatment and Rainwater Harvesting Systems products.

As a result, gaining experience in dealing with architects, specifiers, distributors and builders’ merchants. Barrie commented that he was excited to join the team at AWMS.

Pete, on the other hand, has been part of the AWMS’ newly formed Merchant Support Team since 2014, covering the North and Scotland, introduced to provide merchant customers with support to help them sell, such as site surveys, product training, trade mornings, marketing initiatives and branch incentives.

Pete was promoted to Area Sales Manager for the North, in January, and described it as a privilege to be part of a proactive organisation that puts a lot of time and effort into helping its staff progress in new roles.
