Sadolin are keen to show that outdoor woodcare projects can still be undertaken, despite temperatures drop as we head into the winter months.
Last year, Beautiflex®, Sadolin’s high performance product, was shown being applied in at an exposed Peak District, as part of a film from the autumn.
Sadolin Beautiflex® is a solvent opaque woodstain, which provides a beautiful, flexible finish with long term protection.
Formulated for application in cooler temperatures, it enables wood protection projects to happen away from the typical outdoor season, extending opportunities for specifiers to arrange exterior jobs.
The short film, presented by Sadolin woodcare expert Sean Thompson, shows the project at different stages and can be found on the company’s Youtube page.
Sean said: “The qualities of Sadolin Beautiflex® enabled the application to be carried out in late Autumn, so the wood could be protected before the colder, wet and freezing conditions of winter started to take their toll.
“It has been used on the project to great effect to provide protection and a colour scheme which perfectly suits the limestone building.”
Available in a variety of ready mixed colours and tinted shades, Sadolin Beautiflex’s® is suitable for all new, bare or previously coated exterior wood, including decking.
Its superior flexibility is achieved through a formulation which includes alkyd resin technology, giving the coating the assurance of up to 7 years’ protection.
