The Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland (ALCI) has named Belfast based Cameron Landscapes the winner of the prestigious ‘Bog Oak Trophy’ for the seventh time for the company’s work on a private garden in Co Fermanagh.
The ‘Bog Oak Trophy’ aims to recognise the best overall entry across the residential and commercial sectors at the ALCI Awards, held at the Titanic Belfast on 11th November.
Presented to Cameron Landscapes by special guest Norman Fulton, the ‘Bog Oak Trophy’ has been scooped by the landscaping firm seven times, with its first win dating back over 30 years ago.
The winning project incorporated a variety of products developed by CED Stone Group, including: Blue Grey Granite Edging, Blue Grey Granite Paving, Blue Grey Granite Bullnosed Steps, Silver Grey Granite Cropped Setts, Black Basalt Cropped Setts, CEDAdrive, Silver Grey Granite Aggregate and Scottish Beach Cobbles.
Omagh depot manager James Kane congratulated Cameron Landscapes on its win at the awards, commenting:
“Congratulations to Geoff and his team on their success at the ALCI awards and their Bog Oak Trophy win. The beauty of our products is truly brought to life through excellent workmanship and quality design; the winning garden being a perfect example.
It has been an absolute pleasure to supply and work with Cameron Landscapes, who have fast become valued, regular customers. We look forward to working with them again in the near future to create many more beautiful projects.”
Cameron Landscapes has since become regular CED customers and have gone on to develop a display area at its garden centre, showcasing all of CED Stone Group’s natural stone and porcelain paving.
