Benefit of daylight event at Glasgow

Architects and window installers are invited to attend an event which will focus on the use of daylight to transform homes and schools into healthy indoor environments.

The event, entitled ‘Daylight on Tour’ is being held at the Lighthouse in Glasgow and will take place on Wednesday 30 August from 8am to 10am.

Organised by roof window manufacturers Velux, it will feature the elite of architecture and design.

They will discuss the findings from research by The University of Salford that natural light and fresh air can speed up learning.

Speakers include Professor Peter Barrett of The University of Salford, Laura Phillips, Associate Director at BuroHappold Engineering and Clara Garraiga, Associate Director at Holmes Miller.
