Skyline Fascia and Soffit system

Bespoke fascia and soffit system specified for hotel extension

  • 31 May 2012

The new DW Sports Fitness Club at Jersey’s St Brelade’s Bay Hotel has installed a custom-manufactured Skyline Fascia and Soffit system from Alumasc.

St Brelade’s Bay Hotel has recently undergone a multi-million pound redevelopment. Its existing facilities have been upgraded and a new extension has been built to include an interior swimming pool, steam room, mutlti-station gym and several fitness studios.

Working in conjunction with BDK Architects and Deerglen, Alumasc’s Technical Team made regular site visits to ensure the Fascia Soffit system was designed to suit the project’s requirements.

Precision Plastics co-ordinated the supply of the product; the company worked closely with Alumasc to provide a consistent level of service throughout the development. The final design features a rebated channel with discreet fixings, which complements the hotel’s clean lines.

As a lightweight system, Skyline offers a wealth of fixing and performance benefits to contractors and builders. The system is both non-corrodible and weatherproof, making it suitable for installation in exposed coastal locations, such as Jersey.

Manufactured from polyester powder coated aluminium, Skyline is available in four standard shapes and 16 colours. Alternatively, tailored designs and bespoke colours can be produced to order.

Skyline is delivered to site in a pre-designed kit; fixing can be carried out from the roof, eliminating the need for external access.
