In the early spring, Washroom teamed up with Saneux to open a brand- new showroom based in the heart of Clerkenwell, which is now open to the public five days a week.
Washroom created a number of commercial roomsets for the displays, each carefully designed to provide the perfect backdrop for Saneux’s products. The detailed roomsets provide a way to visualise a finished washroom design as well as giving architects the opportunity to see Washroom’s product range for themselves.
The high specification washroom products on display are all from Washroom’s bespoke Iconica Collection including one of its most popular toilet cubicles – full height, flush front, Alto Laminate toilet cubicles fitted with its new smartLOK cubicle locks.
Ergonomically designed and stylish, smartLOK cubicle locks are operated by just the touch of a button and launched to market in the summer.
This year saw Washroom launch its new Washroom Refresh service. Utilising innovative architectural films to refresh rather than replace existing toilet cubicles, the team can complete a full washroom refurbishment in a fraction of the time.
With an extensive range of more than 1,000 patterned and textured finishes including faithful reproductions of wood, metal, marble, leather and stone, Washroom Refresh offers a virtually limitless array of designs to create an entirely new washroom space. What’s more, the films are durable, stain resistant, easy to clean and repair – extending the lifecycle of the existing facilities and adding to the eco-credentials of the project.
Glass continues to be a popular choice for washrooms as it offers design versatility with the option to back-paint glass to virtually any shade or incorporate digitally screen printed designs.
The options increased this year with Washroom adding a new product to its glass Concerto duct panelling range – it can now supply glass duct panels complete with unique metal mesh inserts for a bespoke finish.
Washroom also expanded its range of Arpeggio vanities, adding a concrete option to provide the perfect solution for those looking to create on-trend, industrial-inspired washrooms. Hardwearing and easy-to- maintain, concrete can be used to create a stylish, high specification design.
Never one to rest on its laurels, Washroom is currently in the midst of extending its production space within the factory and has invested in another, brand-new, five axis CNC machine to increase capacity and meet demand.

Love the idea of a concrete option. The industrial trend is definitely a design becoming mainstream. Do you have any samples of the end looking vanities?
