CIMCIG’s latest seminar, on Immersive Marketing in construction, is taking place on Tuesday 30 October at Bristol Business School at the University of the West of England.
The morning workshop, from 9am – 11am, is organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG) and features presentations from three speakers, all experts in Augmented and Virtual Reality: Graeme Lipschitz, Will Humphrey and Mark Miles.
Graeme Lipschitz is co-founder of Wonderland Creative and has been at the helm of over 50 projects focusing on construction marketing, using new technology and customer-led strategy.
Sugar Creative Studio’s Will Humphrey specialises in digital branding and apps and trained at the world-leading London College of Communication.
Mark Miles, of Render, designs VR, AR and Mixed or Hybrid Reality solutions for global organisations. Mark is a leading light in immersive technology higher education and advisor on the government’s industrial strategy.
Charmaine Dean, Marketing Manager of Catnic and CIMCIG committee member, commented: “This morning seminar will show how the latest developments in immersive marketing have opened up new ways of engaging with companies and brands.
“Augmented and Virtual Reality is being used today to sell and promote construction products and projects in both B2B and B2C marketing.
“It’s an interactive session which will allow delegates to experience the technology for themselves and learn how to apply it in a practical way to marketing campaigns.”
The seminar will interest architects and building technicians, as they will be able to see how BIM models can be used in engaging ways beyond their purpose.
‘Immersive marketing for the construction industry’ is available to book online at www.cim.co.uk/event/93289/ or by calling the CIM on 01628 427340.
Early-bird prices of £35 for CIM members or £40 for non-members are available until 5th October. Places are limited and booked on a first-come first-served basis.
