About Tall Buildings Fire Safety

With more than 6,400 buildings over 100m tall in cities around the globe, greater knowledge of the fire risks and behaviour of fire in tall buildings is essential.  This key conference offers an opportunity to network with professionals from around the world and learn about the challenges and solutions for tall buildings from industry experts.

First two days will focus on four key themes:

  • Management of fire safety
  • Fire detection & alarm
  • Fire escape & evacuation
  • Fire containment & compartmentation.

On the final day, delegates will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge in one of three vital areas: Business continuity & resilience; Security & terrorism events; or Firefighting.

University of Greenwich

Held at the University of Greenwich, a World Heritage site, the event also features a Gala Dinner in the magnificent surroundings of the University’s Painted Hall. The dinner will feature guest speaker Sir Ranulph Fiennes, who will offer guests an exciting insight into his inspiring career as a global explorer, sharing his countless life threatening experiences and fascinating exploits.
