Build Show reveals list of exhibitors for 2016 event

  • 22 Jul 2016

A number of industry leaders have signed up to exhibit at the Build Show, which will take place as part of UK Construction Week this October.

Aimed at all construction professionals, from architects to bricklayers, the Build Show will host a variety of workshops and seminars, featuring discussion on pressing industry topics.

A Skills and Apprenticeship workshop is on the show’s agenda: designed to encourage graduates, young people and others to seek a career in the construction industry, the session aims to demonstrate the benefits of up-skilling.

Elsewhere, a Home Building Theatre will communicate the latest information on health and safety regulations; the Business Advice Centre will provide guidance to small and medium-sized construction companies on how to compete with larger developers.

The show will also feature a Building Material Innovation Hub, SME Zone and the Irwin Tools Tradesman of the Year award. An estimated 10,000 products and services will be on display at this year’s event, with a number of industry leaders already signed up to exhibit.

Build Show exhibitors

JCB – one of the world’s top three manufacturers of construction equipment and engineering facilities – will be present at the Build Show. Its Teletruk telescopic forklift will be on display, with experts on hand to highlight its properties and benefits.

Screwfix will also be in attendance, sporting a much larger stand than last year. It will be exhibiting a selection of its construction product range, which comprises a total of 25,000 items. Bryson will also be at the show, bringing its comprehensive collection of branded products and showcasing its expanding range of private label products.

Also set to exhibit: connection technology specialists Easy-Trim Roofing and Construction Products, tool manufacturer Milwaukee, and Caterpillar, the world’s most prominent producer of construction and mining equipment.
