Building Systems UK recently announced a suite of innovations for their ComFlor® structural steel flooring and RoofDek family – with the launch of a range of new products that reduce both the total cost of ownership & whole life carbon and increase the efficiency of installation.

The new family of products includes

ComFlor® FD+ with Colorcoat Prisma® pre-finished steel developed and optimised for floor deck applications. The Colorcoat Prisma® finish provides an exceptionally durable solution for onerous environments and is backed by a multi decade guarantee. A beautiful finish for exposed soffits it is available for use in up to C5 environments and coastal applications.

ComFlor® MZ140 & MZ310 & RoofDek MZ140 – MagiZinc® is an innovative Zinc Magnesium coating replacement for conventional galvanised steels providing superior corrosion protection even in harsh environments. Available in two coating thicknesses and with a multi decade guarantee, the finishes have a lower whole life carbon performance when compared with standard Z275 galvanised coating.

ComFlor® 80 with precision crimped closed ends – ComFlor® 80 is the big sister to ComFlor® 60 with the same round shoulder combined profile technology applied to an 80mm deep trapezoidal shape to offer longer spans. Now available with the option of precision crimped closed ends, providing excellent acoustic performance and fire protection, and a more efficient installation on site.
