  • 17 Sep 2024

Leading audio life-safety systems manufacturer, SigNET, has released a revolutionary new universal intercom hearing loop ‘bolt on’ solution.

Fully compliant with IEC TR 63079:2017 and the field strength requirements stipulated in BS 5839-9, the PDA103i is a self-contained hearing loop system specifically designed to integrate with disabled refuge, door entry and intercom help points.

Tremayne Crossley, SigNET’s Sales Manager, says: “We’ve created the PDA103i to satisfy the integrated loop requirements in the revised BS 8300 and complement our popular range of SigTEL disabled refuge systems.

“The unit connects easily to outstations and intercoms and is an innovative and very cost-effective way of ensuring that your premises are BS 8300-compliant.”

Compact, stylish and compatible with all manufacturers’ disabled refuge points featuring a line out, the PDA103i also features adjustable controls to allow the amplifier’s input and output stages to be set to suit the exact characteristics of an application.
