The REHAU stand at this year’s Langley Carnival raised £156 for the company’s chosen charity, Scope.

Visitors enjoyed a penalty shoot-out competition, a cake and bric-a-brac sale and face painting for youngsters.

REHAU, which has offices based in Langley, were raising for Scope, an organisation that provides support, information and advice to disabled people and their families.

Laurence Chownsmith, National Sales Manager from the REHAU office in Langley, commented: “We were so pleased with the outcome of the event and thanks to everyone who came out and supported our fundraising effort.

“The money raised will go to Scope, and forms part of a bigger fundraising drive at REHAU for the charity.”

REHAU’s fundraising activities culminate with a team, which includes Laurence, tackling the Three Peaks Challenge in September.

Laurence added: “Training is underway and we’re looking forward to the challenge. It will be tough but there are 31 of us taking part so I’m sure the team morale will pull us through.”
