The £4.65 million health education building, Ortus, in London was announced as the winner of the 2014 event, designed by Duggan Morris Architects and comprising window systems and structural glazing from Schueco.

Clay brick and paver projects manufactured by BDA member companies are eligible for all categories, excluding the Worldwide Brick Award.

A total of seventeen trophies will be rewarded, with entrants being judged on architectural design factors such as sustainability, aesthetics, blend and bond of brick.

The company recently launched ‘Henderson on the move’ a free web app designed for smart phones and tablets, which provides brochures and technical information for customers away from a computer.
