The ASA assessed the complaint and IG has ensured that every reference was amended to ‘one of the largest manufacturers of composite doors’ in its print and online marketing.

Loading bay doors can communicate with traffic lights, opening automatically as lorries approach, or with alarm systems to act as a fire door; whilst the company can supply machine protection doors which prevent machinery from operating unless they are fully closed.

The sara Non-Contact Safety Beam is supplied alongside the system to scan ahead of the descending door to identify obstructions and reduce the possibility of collisions and any oncoming danger.

The track in the manual ASS 77 PD.HI system forms part of the sliding door leaf, with the roller incorporated into the sill profile to allow for safe access, whilst the panels can be up to 3.2m wide and 3.0m high, with a maximum weight of 300kg.

The door systems were fitted by contractor JSP Building Services in the main lobby of the former grain warehouse, which has been featured in such films as Oliver Twist and James Bond.
