Manufacturers participating in the GtoG project are working to include 30% recycled content in their plasterboard by December 2015.

The board is manufactured to provide sound insulation with a seamless finish to ensure that no plastering or painting work needs to be carried out.  

The product is aimed at tilers, contractors and architects due to its uncoupling ability, crack bridging advantages, CE marked waterproofing system, vapour management and load distribution.

The Knauf Vinova panel is non-combustible and classified as A2 – s1, d0 of the fire regulations, meaning no smoke or flames were produced and the product has no overall contribution to the breakout of fire.

Prices of smaller quantities of material in the Netherlands factory was reduced to meet that of the UK charges, and the company is predicting a further 28% growth in 2014 within the commercial projects sector.
