On-site inspections of plant, equipment, machinery, mechanical and electrical services can be carried out to assess whether repair or replacement is required and to draw up reinstatement estimates and consequential losses.

The semi-underground units can be emptied in around two minutes and improve the aesthetics of neighbourhoods, lower maintenance costs, offer protection against vandalism, produce fewer odours and confine harmful bacteria.

Similar schemes involving stand alone semi underground collection points are proving successful across European countries such as the Netherlands and Finland, providing a way to move waste without stretching manufacturing resources.
