Carpet waste reduced by 21% according to new Carpet Recycling figures

Recycling and reuse of waste carpet increased by 19% or 7,000 tonnes, with energy recovery rising 31% by 15,000 tonnes in 2013 compared to 2012. Research has found that more than 200 Household Waste Recycling Centre sites are involved in segregating carpets, with 25% of local authorities now separating carpets and avoiding landfill.

Heavy duty steel glazing systems to be supplied for recycling project
