Commenting on the Energy Company Obligation and Flood Re schemes, John said that the government is going to have difficulty seeing through the proposals unless they “start reducing energy demand and carbon emissions rapidly.”

Over 200 delegates attended the event, which aimed to discuss ways in which the policy could progress, as well as examining how energy efficiency and carbon reductions can be achieved in existing non-domestic buildings.

The initiative was first launched in 2012, with Back to the Floor collecting and reprocessing smooth vinyl, cushioned vinyl flooring, plus Marmoleum and Flotex installation off-cuts being recycled back into new Forbo products.
