Cembrit has been announced as the latest exhibitor showcasing its leading range of natural roofing slates and fibre cement cladding at the RCI Show 2016.
Visitors to stand E4 will be able to view the latest Cembrit products and find out how they can be utilised to deliver the best results.
Natural slate remains one of the most popular roof coverings in the UK as a result of its aesthetic appeal, variety and use on many buildings in the country’s architectural heritage. In addition, it requires a low energy input for processing compared to its alternatives and is proven to be both durable and sustainable.
Cembrit’s dedicated natural slates division offers UK specifiers and slaters a wide range of top end materials for roofing contracts. Delegates at the RCI Show will be able to find out more information about the entire range of natural slates, which includes Glendyne, Duquesa, Contessa, Alpina and Montleon.
Cembrit will also exhibit its range of fibre cement rain screen claddings in 60 combinations of colour and surface treatments, including its popular ‘through coloured’ cladding board.
The boards are suitable for use as an architectural feature for external applications. It can be specified in 11 pastel colours, with a matt finish and a faint directional grain.
During its production, Cembrit cladding undergoes a unique impregnation treatment to help protect against water staining and dirt. This ensures that the façade retains its original appearance in both dry and wet weather conditions.
At RCI 2016, Cembrit will explain to visitors how the combination of colour stability – with a class 0 fibre rating to BS 476 and a class 1 rating to BS 476 part 7 – makes its cladding products ideal for overcladding rain screen applications.
The sheets can be used for rain screen cladding, weatherboarding, window elements, fascia, balconies and prefabricated façade elements.
